The Sultan Qaboos University Journal for
Science (

جامعة السلطان قابوس للعلوم ) had its origins in the journal
Sultan Qaboos University Journal for Scientific Research- Science and
Technology
first published by
Sultan
Qaboos University in 1996. In 2004 it was decided to separate ‘Science’
from ‘Technology’ and offer two separate avenues for publication. As a
consequence SQU Journal for Scientific Research-Science and
Technology will continue as SQU journal for Science as from
volume 9.
The Sultan Qaboos University Journal for
Science publishes original contributions from the full range of the
basic and applied sciences (mathematics, statistics, chemistry, physics, biology,
earth sciences and computer science). Papers should represent the
results of original research which have not been previously published.
In addition the Journal will publish review articles on topics of
particular interest. All papers are rigorously reviewed
internationally.

specified by the “Instructions
for Authors”. Further information can
