Adobe Acrobat install

The software publisher Adobe has created a document data standard called "Portable Document Format"  (PDF) which allows accurate read-only copies of many different types of computer file to be distributed electronically.  Acrobat files have a filename ending in ".pdf".  To read these, you need the Acrobat reader software, which is distributed free by Adobe.  Using Acrobat reader, you can view files on screen or print them out exactly as the author intended them to appear.  Acrobat reader can also run within versions of web browser software as a "plug in", so from within your browser you should be able to click on the links to the Acrobat documents on this CD and view them in a browser window.

If you do not have Adobe Acrobat reader installed, The latest version and more information can be downloaded from the Adobe web site.

A copy of version 4 can be installed by running the program "D:\acrobat\ar40eng" (where "D:\" stands for your CD drive letter - change this to the correct letter on your PC).  Use the Start | Run menu in Windows to run this program.
